FreQuently Asked Questions

How Does the Process Work?

First we'll have a Zoom meeting or phone call to discuss your goals for the photos. We'll decide on a location, date and time for the session as well. On the date of the session, we'll take photos and have fun! After the session, we'll have an in-person meeting so you can choose which images you would like as part of your package. I will then edit those images and share them with you in an online gallery!

How Long Before I get my photos Back?

It typically takes about 2 weeks after you've selected your photos for me to edit them. So the quicker we can do that photo selection meeting, the quicker you'll receive your images! Please remember that certain times of the year are busier, and it may take longer to receive your images. If I expect it to be longer then a 2 week period, I will keep you informed of the new gallery timeline.

How will I recive My Photos?

After your photos are finished and edited, you can expect a text or email from me with a link to your gallery. A gallery is a collection of all your photos online. Once you receive this gallery you can download the image files to your phone or computer. Make sure to download all of your photos! Galleries that are more than 2 months old may be deleted to make room for new client galleries.

Where Should I Take My Photos?

It depends on the length of the session you're booking, and how quickly you can change! With a 30-minute session you might have time to change once, if you're efficient. One-hour sessions usually have time for 1-2 changes. Longer sessions can accommodate additional changes, or different props, etc. Please understand that changing clothes takes time away from the session.

Can I bring my friends/family to the shoot?

Colorado has so much fantastic natural scenery, therefore, the vast majority of my work shot outdoors. I know locations that include mountains, streams, prairies, lakes, seasonal colors/foliage, urban landscapes, graffiti art, etc. I'm also open to a location or background of your choosing in the local area.  Indoor pricing will be slightly higher due to the transportation and set up of equipment.

Can I Change Clothes In My photo Session?

Of course! I want you to feel as comfortable as possible during the shoot, so if you want to bring people for support or to help coax out your best expressions, that's great! Additional people can also be put to work holding extra clothes or props if you decide to bring them.

I always feel awkward taking photos. Can you help?

Don't fear! It wasn't that long ago that I did senior and grad photos, so I completely understand! I have a collection of poses, prompts, and angles to help you look your best. Part of my job as the photographer is to make the session feel fun and stress-free. Creating a safe space to let your true smile shine through is my number one goal!

What if I am having trouble with my gallery?

Please follow up with me! I am happy to guide you on how to download your photos if you're in need of further instruction. If the gallery says you require a PIN to see the photos, please let me know so I can disable it.
